By William Shakespeare

How beauteous mankind is! Oh brave new world
That has such people in it.”

THE TEMPEST is a comedy set in a wonderful world not quite of any other that Shakespeare created. It is a story of magic, monsters and spirits, of love and revenge, of an enchanted island set in a distant sea.  It is PROSPERO’S   story and PROSPERO’S island. PROSPERO, the Duke of Milan, usurped by his brother ANTONIO   12 years ago and set adrift with his baby daughter MIRANDA to perish in the deep. He survives. He has magic and he has ARIEL, a wondrous spirit of the air and CALIBAN, an island beast half-man, half-prehistoric link And he has revenge in mind.

Ideal for the family.    For young and old.     For Summer.
Bring a picnic, a bottle of something nice, something to sit upon and let the sun shine!
Wheelchair access, bar and catering facilities, ample parking.
